Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Parlor Table is built so you can play without telling us who you are. An account is optional: it only keeps your games and streak on every device. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to play. You only give us an email if you choose to create an account.
- We do not store your IP address with your activity.
- We do not sell your information.
What we store
- A random browser ID. When you first play, your browser gets a random ID in a cookie. It keeps your daily results and streak together. It is not linked to your identity.
- How the games are used. For example which game was opened, whether it was finished, which lesson step someone stopped at, the kind of device (phone or computer) and the country. We use this only to make the games better.
- Daily results. Your score on a daily deal, so we can show how you did compared with other players that day.
- Your account, if you create one. Your email address, the name you choose for the table, and the games, scores, daily results and streak linked to it. When you create an account, the games you already played in that browser move to it. If you continue with Google, Google tells us only your email address and first name; we never see your Google password.
- Feedback you send. Your message and, only if you choose to give it, an email address so we can reply.
- Saved games and settings stay in your own browser (local storage). We do not receive them.
Cookies
We use one cookie for the random browser ID described above and, only if you sign in, a second cookie that keeps you signed in on that browser. Both are needed for the site to work as described and are not used for advertising. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
Advertising
Parlor Table is free and will be paid for by ads in the future. There are no ads today. Before ads are shown, we will update this policy to explain which ad partners are used, what they collect, and how to opt out, including a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option where the law requires it.
Children
Parlor Table is a general audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the feedback form, please contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
Usage records are kept only as long as they help us improve the games, and then removed or reduced to totals that do not point to any browser. Your account and its games are kept until you delete the account. Feedback is kept until it has been handled.
Your choices
- Clearing your browser data removes your browser ID and saved games from that device. Games in an account stay in the account.
- If you have an account, you can delete it yourself at any time on My games. This deletes the account and every game, daily result and streak linked to it.
- You can ask us to delete everything linked to your browser ID: use "Delete my data" from the same browser, and we will remove it.
- Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to know, delete or correct personal information. Use the same form and we will respond.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Important changes will be explained on the site before they take effect.
